Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy can help with a variety of emotional difficulties and mental illnesses. Weekly sessions typically last 50 minutes and can be short-term or long-term depending on the complexity and intensity of the issues.

Individual therapy is client-based which means the therapist tailors interventions through various therapeutic approaches to best fit the client. Some of these therapeutic approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Therapies, just to name a few!
