No Surprises Act

This law is primarily designed to reduced unexpected medical bills for patients enrolled in federally-regulated self-funded/ERISA group health plans or insurers, who receive: (1) covered non-emergency services by out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, or (2) emergency services by out-of-network providers.
